Pharmacy Technicians in this retail setting are fundamental in managing the intricate details of prescription processing ensuring both accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. The role involves significant interaction with customers providing service that is both informative and empathetic addressing questions and directing queries to pharmacists when necessary. Technicians are expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and insurance protocols to assist patients effectively. Daily responsibilities also include managing patient medication synchronization bubble packing over the counter medication and front-end management. The work environment requires collaboration with a broad team including pharmacists healthcare providers patients and pharmacy managers highlighting the necessity of strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

In the retail pharmacies located within Cuyuna Regional Medical Centers main campus and the Super One grocery store in Crosby we provide convenient community-focused medication services that ensure patients receive the prescriptions education and support they need to stay healthy. • High School Diploma
• Current MN drivers license
• Successfully complete the certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) course or possess certification within two years of hire (not required to apply)
• Successful completion of the data entry and pharmacy calculationstandards as administered by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Human Resources staff
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy (must show in good standing prior to first day) - no previous education required to register in the State of Minnesota

• Completion of a Certified Pharmacy Technician course

The pay range is listed above. Actual pay rate offered is determined based on experience in this role. Please be sure to include all applicable experience in your application.
