The Lead Pharmacy Technician provides both operational and team leadership support within a high-volume pharmacy services environment. This role serves as a key resource for pharmacy technician staff helping ensure quality performance workflow efficiency and exceptional service while supporting daily pharmacy operations.
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience
- Previous leadership supervisory mentoring or team lead experience preferred
- Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with pharmacy systems and computer-based applications
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting team performance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience supporting mail-order specialty managed care or high-volume pharmacy operations
- Experience with remote workforce environments
- Prior involvement in quality assurance performance monitoring or process improvement initiatives
