Pharmacy Supervisor

We are seeking a reliable and confident Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee the daily pharmacy operations of a community-based retail pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a stable MondayFriday schedule a manageable prescription volume and a flexible working environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Pharmacy Supervisor and ensure pharmacy operations comply with applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  

• Review verify and accurately dispense prescription medications while maintaining a high standard of patient safety.
  

• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations including prescription workflow inventory documentation and regulatory requirements.
  

• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy support staff.
  

• Communicate with patients physicians insurance providers and other healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and medication-related questions.
  

• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and support the continued growth and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
  

Requirements

• Active New York State pharmacist license in good standing.
  

• Ability and willingness to serve as the Supervising Pharmacist / Pharmacist-in-Charge.
  

• Strong understanding of retail pharmacy operations prescription processing and pharmacy compliance requirements.
  

• Experience with Micro Merchant Systems or similar pharmacy management software preferred; training can be provided if needed.
  

• Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills with a responsible and dependable approach to work.
  

• Previous pharmacist experience is preferred but qualified recent pharmacy graduates with the appropriate licensure and knowledge may also be considered.
  

Schedule: MondayFriday 10 AM5:00 PM.
