OBJECTIVES

  • Verify dispense and counsel patients on prescription medications with accuracy clinical judgment and clear communication.
  • Recommend appropriate supportive products supplements and self-care strategies that complement prescribed therapy minimize side effects and improve the patients overall treatment experience.
  • Conduct medication therapy management sessions to review patient medication regimens identify drug interactions and optimize therapy outcomes.
  • Administer immunizations and maintain up-to-date vaccination records in compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy requirements.
  • Oversee and participate in compounding preparations for human and veterinary patients in compliance with USP standards and applicable regulations.
  • Support multi-dose packaging and medication synchronization programs to improve patient adherence and simplify daily medication routines.
  • Assist patients enrolled in medical weight loss and peptide therapy programs with prescription coordination and clinical guidance.
  • Collaborate with telehealth providers and prescribers to ensure accurate timely prescription processing and seamless patient follow-up.
  • Provide Medicare open enrollment guidance and help patients evaluate plan options aligned with their current medication needs.
  • Coordinate long-term care pharmacy services for facility partners and caregivers including timely dispensing and medication management support.
  • Maintain full compliance with HIPAA DEA regulations Florida Board of Pharmacy rules and all applicable pharmacy laws and standards.

COMPETENCIES

  • Builds lasting relationships with patients and their families remembering their history and treating every visit as a continuation of their care.
  • Manages a high-volume workflow with precision and calm maintaining accuracy and quality without sacrificing personal attention.
  • Stays current on drug updates clinical guidelines compounding standards and Florida pharmacy regulations.
  • Partners with prescribers telehealth providers and long-term care facilities to close gaps in care and resolve medication issues quickly.
  • Takes ownership of patient outcomes following through on clinical recommendations and checking in when it matters.
  • Represents CK Pharma (Anclote Pharmacy) with warmth professionalism and genuine care in every patient interaction.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy required; Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with equivalent clinical experience considered.
  • Active Florida Board of Pharmacy pharmacist license in good standing required; immunization certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience in community independent or long-term care pharmacy settings required; compounding experience for human and/or veterinary patients strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with medication therapy management multi-dose packaging medication synchronization and pharmacy management software required; medical weight loss or peptide therapy experience a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods during dispensing compounding and patient consultation activities throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to handle medication packaging vials and compounding materials with precision and care.
  • Must be able to lift pharmacy supplies and equipment up to 25 pounds as needed.
