Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to join our dedicated team at the FairfaxAmbulatory Care Center in Fairfax VA. In this role you will:

• Accurately prepare verify and dispense medications according to physician orders and established protocols.

• Review prescriptions for clinical appropriateness ensuring safe effective and evidence-based medication use.

• Monitor drug therapies for interactions contraindications and dosing accuracy; recommend adjustments when needed.

• Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers patients and families on medication selection side effects and best practices.

• Maintain accurate documentation legal records and compliance with all pharmacy regulations.

• Supervise and mentor pharmacy support staff ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to quality standards.

• Actively participate in process improvement initiatives embracing new technologies and innovations that enhance patient care.

• Step in for the pharmacy manager as needed to ensure continuity of service.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.

• Active unrestricted pharmacy license in any U.S. state or territory.

• 23 years of experience in pharmacy practice (retail or outpatient experience preferred).

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic records.

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
