• Review and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy safety and appropriateness before dispensing
• Evaluate patient medication profiles to support optimal therapeutic outcomes
• Provide medication counseling drug information and clinical consultation to patients and care teams
• Partner with physicians nurses and pharmacy staff to promote safe effective medication use
• Support daily pharmacy operations including medication distribution and workflow coordination
• Ensure compliance with state federal and organizational pharmacy regulations
• Maintain accurate medication and controlled substance records
• Help uphold quality improvement initiatives that enhance pharmacy services and patient safety
• Provide guidance and oversight to pharmacy technicians interns and support staff as needed

Education:

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Bachelors of Science degree in Pharmacy.

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Obtain Iowa Pharmacist License within 90 days of Hire
