We are seeking a Pharmacist for a permanent full-time opportunity in Grants New Mexico. This role is responsible for medication preparation dispensing clinical drug therapy monitoring pharmacy operations patient safety and supporting healthcare providers with accurate drug information.
Responsibilities
Prepare label dispense and verify medications IV solutions and pharmacy orders accurately Monitor patient drug therapies for safety appropriateness effectiveness and age-specific needs Provide drug information and education to physicians nurses patients and healthcare staff Maintain pharmacy inventory records formulary updates and automated dispensing machine support Supervise pharmacy technicians and participate in Rapid Response and Code Blue situations as required
Requirements
Active New Mexico Pharmacist License Required Graduate Of An ACPE-Accredited School Of Pharmacy Required Bachelor Of Science In Pharmacy Required; PharmD Preferred Hospital pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered Strong clinical judgment communication accuracy leadership and patient safety focus required
