Job Summary
Matrix Providers is hiring a Pharmacist to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in Bremerton WA.
- Employment Status: Full Time
- Compensation: $74.61-$78.54 /hour
- Schedule: Sunday through Saturday including the day of observance of Federal holidays between the hours of 6 am - 8 pm.

Requirements: The Pharmacist must have and meet the following:
- Degree: Bachelors degree in pharmacy.
- Education: Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation
Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE). - Experience: One year of professional pharmacy experience after graduation.
- Licensure: Current full active and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist.
Place of Performance: Naval Hospital Bremerton - Pharmacy
- This facility while listed as a Hospital is strictly out patient services.
- There are no inpatient services.
Patient Population: Active Duty Military and their dependents.
Actual Schedule: Currently the Schedule typically is between the hours of 6 am - 8 pm. Sun - Sat.
Job Summary:
- Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures
- Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services within the facilitys personnel supply and equipment capabilities.
- Counsel patients regarding the appropriate use of medications.
- Review patient profiles at the time of dispensing to monitor medication therapy closely.
- Ensure prescription directions for use dose medication interactions therapeutic duplications or overlaps allergy information age-specific dosage and other pertinent data are appropriate for individual patients. Intervention with providers shall be made for noted discrepancies of the above-listed items.
- Compound medications as required.
- Ensure the accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by technical staff.
- Supervise inventory control of all pharmaceuticals in the pharmacy especially scheduled pharmaceuticals and ensure pharmacy security. Maintain appropriate records and security of all scheduled controlled substances according to applicable regulations.
