Job Summary
Rural hospital located several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage AK seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join their team.
Starting pay: $165318.00 - $192608.00/annually
- $50000 sign on bonus!
- Enjoy 208 hours of PTO per year in addition to 13 paid holidays and 5 additional days of subsistence leave.
- Receive $1500 paid monthly to assist with living expenses
Pharmacist Opportunity:
- Order verification; monitor drug therapies and patient labs sterile product compounding and oversight provide drug information to nurses and physicians counsel patients on their discharge medications renal dose adjustments based on protocol
- Provide drug information to nurses and physicians in the primary care center proactive chart reviews pharmacist refill authorization per protocol anticoagulation services adult and pediatric vaccinations
- Chart reviews medication consultations prescription preparations and medisets.
Pharmacist Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed Pharmacist
- 2 year(s) Preferred or 1 year of post graduate residency working as a Pharmacist or pharmacist intern preferably in a hospital setting
- Lift or carry unaided less than 25 pounds
