About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Technician with specialized hands-on expertise in servicing and performing preventive maintenance on bilayer tablet presses within a strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) addition to technical equipment maintenance this role plays a key client-facing function requiring the ability to provide expert technical guidance during the preparation of service proposals for prospective pharmaceutical clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Servicing & Maintenance: Perform hands-on servicing troubleshooting calibration and preventive maintenance on complex bilayer tablet press machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • GMP Compliance: Ensure all maintenance repair and operational procedures strictly adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Technical Proposal Support: Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to guide and contribute technical specifications service scopes and maintenance insights for service proposals targeting potential pharmaceutical clients.
  • Client Consultation: Act as a technical subject matter expert to address client inquiries regarding tablet press maintenance validation support and service capabilities.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate up-to-date maintenance logs service reports and compliance documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment specifically bilayer tablet presses.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep working knowledge of GMP regulations pharmaceutical manufacturing environments and equipment validation protocols.
  • Technical Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot repair and execute preventive maintenance schedules on precision machinery.
  • Communication & Business Acumen: Strong interpersonal and technical writing skills with the ability to translate complex engineering concepts into clear compelling service proposals for clients.
  • Education: Associates degree in Engineering Electronics or a related science field or equivalent practical experience.
