Pet SitterDog Walker

Territory:Southeast Territory -- Clarendon Hills Hinsdale Western Springs La Grange Burr Ridge Willowbrook and surrounding areas.

Schedule:Monday-Friday 2:00 PM-10:00 PM with an expected workload of approximately 10-20 hours per week. Optional weekend availability may be available.

This role includes two primary visit blocks during the afternoon and evening so candidates who live within a comfortable commuting distance of the territory are likely to find the schedule most sustainable.

Floofins & Company is a family-owned professional dog walking and pet-sitting company serving families throughout the western suburbs of Chicago. Our Southeast Territory includes Clarendon Hills Hinsdale Western Springs La Grange Burr Ridge Willowbrook and surrounding communities.

Were looking for a dependable Pet Sitter / Dog Walker to join our afternoon and evening team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working independently staying active and providing reliable care that pet owners can count on.

Because every team member performs both dog walking and in-home pet sitting youll build a varied daily route while developing lasting relationships with pets and their families.

• Complete afternoon dinner and evening dog walks and pet-care visits.
• Provide in-home care including feeding fresh water litter care and bedtime routines.
• Complete scheduled potty breaks and late-night check-ins.
• Administer pet medications when needed.
• Send real-time visit updates and photos to clients through our mobile app.
• Maintain a dependable daily route across afternoon and evening visit blocks traveling between client homes in all weather.

Within your first 6-12 months success means:

• Consistently completing scheduled visits accurately and on time.
• Building trust with clients through dependable communication and quality pet care.
• Managing an efficient route across the Southeast Territory.
• Following care instructions carefully including medication and special needs.
• Becoming a reliable member of a team that clients can confidently count on.

• Reliable availability Monday-Friday generally from 2:00 PM-10:00 PM.
• Personal transportation and a reasonable commute to the Southeast Territory.
• Dependability strong communication and attention to detail.
• Comfort working independently between client homes in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to commit to the role for at least 6-12 months.
• Willingness to work major holidays when scheduled as pet care continues year-round.
• Willingness to complete reference checks a background check and drug screening.

• Part-time W-2 employment.
• 10-20 hours per week.
• $15-$17/hour base pay.
• Average earnings of $18-$22/hour including tips.
• $0.76/mile mileage reimbursement.
