Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Patient Care Representatives are responsible for maintaining a friendlywarmand inviting environment at the Front Desk/Patient Check-In area and/or the Patient Check-Out is important that Patient Care Representatives are politeattentiveand organized. Additionally they should be able to effectively communicate with patients and assist them in any way they can.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS(otherduties as required):
Open and close office/lobby as evidenced by opening and closing time of facilities
Print daily team/physician schedules as evidenced by the schedule of appointments for that day
Greet patients company representatives caretakers & transportation providers as evidenced by company standards and policies
Check-in patients upon arrival by verifying information required and havingpatientscomplete questionnaires/forms
Attend to walk-in patients scheduling inquiries prescription/record pick-up etc.
Sort and distribute charts and deliveries
Print fee tickets
Cross-check and update next-day charts as evidenced by the appointment schedule
Create and repair patient charts
Maintain the refreshments cart in the lobby
Ensure that the lobby and alcove is tidy and orderly throughout the day as evidenced by company standards and policies
Responsible for staging before and clean-up after lobby seminars as evidenced by the seminar schedule
Complete appointment confirmation calls as evidenced by the appointment schedule
Confirm patients insurance information and co-payment
Collect co-payment any non-covered service fees and/or existing account balances
Provide patient with a statement and/or receipt
Schedule patients for appointments follow-ups etc.
Account for fee tickets
Balance the cash drawer
Fill out essential reports and forms
Adherence toapplicable lawsregulationsand contractual principles of the Compliance Program as well as the Code of Conduct.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time andhoursinclude scheduled timesMonday through Thursday 6:15A.M. 5:00P.M. with occasional overtime.
