Responsibilities

• Design safe and effective programs accommodating the unique needs/goals of clients
• Represent yourself professionally through your appearance language and behavior
• Performingindividual fitness assessments for clients every 4-6 weeks
• Interact with clients and team members without judgement and express empathy
• Express patience determination and genuine care to hold clients accountable to reaching their goals
• Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration to meet the needs of those around you
• Constantly look for ways to improve your skills to grow as an expert in your field

Qualifications

• Availability M W F 12noon - 7pm (occassional Saturday)
• Bachelors degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred
• National Certification required
• 3 years or more of personal training and program design experience
• Experience & success working with special populations preferred
• Understanding of injury prevention/management
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to each clients individual needs
• Must have the emotional stamina to be at your best with each client
• Enjoys and excels in a TEAM work environment
