Location

Plano Texas This is a full-time in-office position where youll collaborate closely with our litigation team. Occasional flexibility may be available when needed but this is primarily an on-site opportunity.

Note

To be considered you must be licensed to practice law in Texas and have 3 years of personal injury litigation experience. We welcome experienced litigators from law firms in-house legal departments or solo practices who have a strong plaintiff personal injury background.

Job Description

• Manage personal injury litigation cases from intake through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy and prepare cases for mediation arbitration and trial.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings mediations and court proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
• Maintain regular communication with clients while providing strategic legal guidance.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
• Contribute to a collaborative high-performance litigation environment.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license.
• 3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Strong litigation negotiation and courtroom skills.
• Experience handling cases independently.
• Excellent legal writing research and oral advocacy abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple active litigation matters simultaneously.
• Professional judgment and commitment to outstanding client service.
