Note: Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in Arizona with at least 1 year of litigation experience. Personal injury experience is a strong plus but not required.

Job Description

As a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney you will manage a full caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution including some of the most impactful cases our clients will ever face. Day to day you will:

• Manage litigation cases end to end from initial client engagement and contract execution through pleadings discovery motions and final resolution
• Investigate claims analyze liability and damages and build compelling litigation strategies
• Draft and file legal documents including complaints answers motions discovery requests and responses subpoenas and trial briefs
• Conduct and respond to discovery take and defend depositions and prepare expert witnesses
• Represent clients persuasively at hearings mediations arbitrations and trials
• Review and organize medical records and supporting documentation to strengthen case arguments
• Communicate regularly with clients opposing counsel expert witnesses and other stakeholders
• Stay current on relevant case law statutes and procedural rules through ongoing legal research

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required
• Active Arizona Bar admission required
• 1 years of litigation experience
• Solid understanding of tort law and civil litigation procedures
• Experience drafting motions pleadings and other legal documents
• Strong analytical research and written communication skills
• Persuasive negotiator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working in a paperless case management system environment
• Personal injury experience preferred
