Location: Houston Texas (South Houston) this is a full-time fully on-site position where youll collaborate closely with an experienced litigation team.

Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Texas and have at least 2 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience including first or second chair trial experience. Candidates must be able to independently manage litigation files through trial.

Job Description

• Independently manage a plaintiff personal injury litigation caseload from filing through trial.
• Handle motor vehicle accident premises liability and other personal injury matters.
• Develop litigation strategy and evaluate claims.
• Conduct depositions mediations hearings and settlement negotiations.
• Prepare pleadings motions discovery and trial materials.
• Serve as first or second chair at trial.
• Collaborate with attorneys paralegals and support staff to deliver outstanding client representation.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license.
• 2 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• First or second chair trial experience required.
• Experience independently handling litigation files.
• Strong deposition negotiation and courtroom skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Organized with strong case management skills.
