Location: Port Charlotte FL This is an on-site opportunity for an attorney who enjoys working collaboratively with a team and being directly involved in the day-to-day practice of law.

Note: Must have an active Florida Bar license in good standing and 1 year of directly relevant personal injury experience. This is an on-site role with limited flexibility for hybrid or remote work.

Job Description

• Represent clients in personal injury matters from case evaluation through resolution
• Manage and advance an assigned caseload while keeping cases organized and moving forward
• Evaluate liability damages medical records insurance coverage and overall case value
• Communicate directly with clients insurance carriers opposing counsel medical providers and other involved parties
• Draft pleadings demands correspondence discovery motions and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies tailored to each clients circumstances
• Negotiate claims and settlements while protecting clients interests
• Prepare cases for litigation hearings depositions mediation and trial as appropriate
• Work closely with attorneys and support staff to provide responsive high-quality client service

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing
• 1 year of personal injury law experience
• Strong legal writing research negotiation and communication skills
• Sound judgment and the ability to manage multiple active matters
• Strong client-service mindset and professional demeanor
• Ability to work on-site in Port Charlotte FL
