Location: This is a full-time on-site position based in Newark NJ offering the opportunity to work closely with a cohesive in-office litigation team in one of New Jerseys most active legal markets.

Note: Candidates must have 4 years of personal injury attorney experience and be admitted to the New Jersey bar. These are firm requirements; applications that do not meet both criteria cannot be considered.

Job Description

• Handle plaintiff-side personal injury matters from active litigation through resolution managing files with urgency and organization
• Draft pleadings motions discovery demands and responses and a full range of litigation documents
• Take and defend depositions across a varied personal injury caseload
• Appear in court for conferences hearings and motion practice
• Develop case strategy evaluate liability and damages and drive matters toward strong outcomes
• Collaborate closely with clients experts medical providers and internal team members throughout the life of the case
• Prepare cases for trial and actively support trial strategy as needed
• Maintain strong client communication and manage expectations with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications

• 4 years of personal injury attorney experience (plaintiff-side strongly preferred)
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey
• Strong litigation skills including drafting depositions and courtroom appearances
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while thriving in a team environment
• Excellent written verbal and client communication skills
• Trial preparation experience is a plus
• Spanish language skills are a plus
