Location: Hybrid opportunity based in Durham North Carolina offering a balance of in-office collaboration and flexibility.

Note: Personal injury experience is a must-have qualification for consideration. We are primarily targeting attorneys with 1 years of directly relevant experience although we welcome more senior candidates and attorneys coming from successful solo practice backgrounds.

Job Description

• Manage personal injury matters from initial case development through settlement litigation and resolution.
• Investigate claims analyze medical records and damages and develop effective case strategies.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery requests responses and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and prepare for depositions hearings mediations and other litigation proceedings.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel.
• Prepare clients witnesses exhibits and case materials for mediation and trial.
• Maintain proactive compassionate communication with clients throughout their matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases efficiently toward strong outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1 years of personal injury experience required.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active attorney license in good standing with the ability to practice in North Carolina.
• Strong legal research writing negotiation and case management skills.
• Litigation experience involving discovery depositions mediation or trial preparation is highly valued.
• Plaintiff-side personal injury experience is strongly preferred.
• Solo practitioners with directly relevant personal injury experience are encouraged to apply.
