At Assisting Hands Home Care our caregivers provide the one-on-one support that allows seniors and individuals to continue living safely and comfortably at home. Were growing our team and looking for Caregivers CNAs and Home Health Aides who take pride in helping others.

The Work Youll Do

No two clients are exactly alike. Your schedule and responsibilities will depend on the individual care plan but your day may include:

Assisting with bathing dressing grooming and personal care
Helping with meals and light housekeeping
Providing companionship and conversation
Assisting with walking mobility and daily routines
Helping clients stay active and engaged
Providing reminders and support throughout the day
Following the clients established care plan
Reporting changes concerns or important updates to the office
Maintaining accurate documentation of the care you provide

Above all youll help create a safe respectful and comfortable environment where clients can maintain as much independence as possible.

Comfortable providing one-on-one care in a clients home
Able to work independently while following a care plan
Flexible and willing to travel to different client locations

Experience

At least 1 year of caregiving experience is preferred.

Experience as a caregiver CNA HHA private-duty caregiver or home care professional is highly valued but not required.

You Must Have

Reliable transportation
Valid drivers license
Current auto insurance

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Where Youll Be Working

We provide care across the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago including:

Schaumburg Hoffman Estates Palatine Rolling Meadows Elk Grove Village Des Plaines Park Ridge Surrounding Areas

A note about location: The location listed with this position identifies one of the communities we serve. It does not represent the only area where you may work or necessarily our office location. Caregivers must be willing to travel to other communities within our service area when client assignments require it.
