Personal Care Attendant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in South Lyon MI. This role involves helping individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life in a respectful and caring manner.

• Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing dressing grooming and hygiene.
• Support clients with mobility and transferring safely.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor clients health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• Previous experience in personal care or a related field is an asset but not necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
• Reliable trustworthy and able to maintain client confidentiality.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform care tasks.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a plus.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and comply with health and safety regulations.
