The Fire Department of Liberty Township is seeking an Entry Level Personal Assistant to join our team in Clayton. This is a full-time remote position within the Public Safety industry offering a unique opportunity to provide essential administrative support to our departments leadership while contributing to the safety and well-being of our community.

As a Personal Assistant you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our department by managing schedules handling correspondence and coordinating various administrative tasks. You will work closely with department personnel to support critical public safety initiatives and help maintain the efficiency our community relies on.

This remote role offers an hourly salary range of $30 - $35 USD providing a competitive compensation package for candidates looking to begin their career in public safety administration. Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain calendars appointments and scheduling for department leadership
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence including emails and phone calls
  • Prepare and organize documents reports and presentations
  • Coordinate meetings and take detailed meeting minutes as needed
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and records for department operations
  • Assist with data entry and database management tasks
  • Support the preparation of departmental reports and communications
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistical support when required
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries
  • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive department information
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow across remote channels
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common productivity tools
