Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RN Manager Trauma Program to oversee and coordinate trauma services within a Level III Trauma Center environment. The Trauma Program Manager will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining a comprehensive and cost-effective trauma care program while ensuring compliance with state and national trauma standards.

This leadership role serves as a liaison between hospital departments EMS providers fire and police services and state trauma authorities to support optimal patient outcomes throughout the continuum of trauma care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop implement and oversee trauma program operations and patient care activities.
  • Coordinate trauma services in collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director.
  • Monitor trauma patient records documentation and trauma registry data for quality assurance and compliance.
  • Prepare for state and American College of Surgeons trauma designation reviews and site visits.
  • Respond to trauma activations during scheduled work hours and assist with trauma response coordination.
  • Maintain relationships with EMS providers fire departments ambulance services police agencies and trauma authorities.
  • Oversee quality improvement initiatives and monitor trauma care performance metrics.
  • Manage and support trauma-related policies procedures and educational initiatives.
  • Assist with oversight of computerized patient care reporting systems and trauma program documentation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and effective trauma patient care delivery.
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Hampshire required.
  • BSN required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Current ACLS certification required.
  • Current PALS certification required.
  • Current TNCC certification required.
  • CEN certification preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of recent trauma nursing experience in an acute care setting required.
  • Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience with trauma program coordination quality assurance and regulatory compliance preferred.
