Ambulatory Anesthesia Care has helped create a safe effective and financially viable office-based anesthesia model that has been replicated throughout the country. Were proud to be growing our office-based anesthesia roots in Houston TX and were looking for a skilled pre/intra/post-op Perianesthesia RN to join our team supporting GI and endoscopy procedures across our Houston facilities just 4 days a week.

If you love the rhythm of a high-volume GI suite working shoulder-to-shoulder with a tight anesthesia and surgical team and setting the standard for safe quality patient care this ones for you. All nursing care happens during standard business hours Monday through Thursday with no evenings Sundays or holidays. More time back in your week every week.

Bilingual candidates especially Spanish-speaking are highly encouraged to apply.

What youll do Youll own the patients full perianesthesia journey in the GI setting pre-operative assessment and prep intra-operative care during endoscopic procedures and post-op recovery and discharge. Youll also help maintain pharmacy and supplies handle equipment safely and take part in quality and performance improvement work. From time to time you may assist with pre-operative patient assessments through our secure patient portal.

What youll bring

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with an active RN license in Texas
• Minimum 3 years of ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to client locations
