Ambulatory Anesthesia Care has helped create a safe effective and financially viable office-based anesthesia model thats been replicated across the country. Were proud to be growing our office-based anesthesia roots in Austin TX and were looking for skilled compassionate pre/intra/post-op Perianesthesia RNs to join our team supporting pediatric dental procedures in our Austin office-based facilities 23 days per week.

If you love working alongside a tight-knit anesthesia and surgical team have a gentle touch with young patients and take pride in setting the standard for safe quality care this role is for you! Our cases are office-based pediatric dental procedures on healthy children performed during standard business hours Monday through Friday no evenings Sundays or holidays.

Bilingual candidates especially Spanish-speaking are highly encouraged to apply.

What youll do The Perianesthesia nurse is responsible for the pre-operative assessment and care of each pediatric patient along with intra-operative and post-operative/recovery care. Additional responsibilities include maintaining pharmacy and supplies safely handling all equipment and participating in quality and performance improvement activities. From time to time you may help complete pre-operative patient assessments through our secure patient portal.

What were looking for

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with active RN licensure in the state of TX
• Minimum of 3 years of ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience (pediatric experience a plus)
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS certification preferred
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to client office locations
