Job Type: Travel Contract
Schedule: 5x8-Hour Shifts (Shift Times Vary Based on Department Needs)

We are seeking an experienced Perfusionist for a travel contract opportunity supporting a high-acuity cardiovascular surgical program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ECMO cardiopulmonary bypass emergent cardiac surgeries and both adult and pediatric cardiac cases.

Responsibilities:

Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) equipment during cardiac procedures
Provide perfusion support for adult pediatric and neonatal cardiac surgeries
Manage ECMO initiation monitoring cannulation support and transport activities
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and CVOR teams during complex cardiac procedures
Respond effectively during emergent cardiac and trauma cases
Monitor patient physiological parameters and ensure optimal perfusion support
Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the EMR system
Ensure proper operation maintenance and troubleshooting of perfusion equipment
Follow all patient safety infection prevention and regulatory standards

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of Perfusion experience
Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP/ABCP) required
Current BLS and ACLS Certifications required
Bachelors Degree in a related field required
Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
Previous travel experience required (First-time travelers will not be considered)

Must-Have Skills:

ECMO management cannulation and transport
Adult Pediatric and Neonatal cardiac cases
Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB)
Emergent cardiac surgery experience
CVOR Pediatric CVOR General OR and Level 1 Trauma experience
