Schedule: 5x8 Hours MondayFriday
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week (8:00 AM 4:30 PM; schedule may vary based on department needs)
We are seeking an experienced Perfusionist to provide expert cardiovascular support in a high-acuity surgical environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ECMO cardiopulmonary bypass emergent cardiac procedures and adult pediatric and neonatal cardiac cases.
Responsibilities:
Independently assist with ECMO cannulation for adult pediatric and neonatal patients
Operate and manage perfusion equipment during cardiovascular surgical procedures
Support high-acuity emergent cardiac cases with precision and efficiency
Monitor and manage patient hemodynamics during surgery
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists nurses and OR staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation within EPIC
Perform routine maintenance quality checks and troubleshooting of perfusion equipment
Ensure compliance with safety infection prevention and regulatory standards
Participate in ECMO transport and critical care support activities as required
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of Perfusionist experience
Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP) Certification required
Current BLS and ACLS Certifications required
Bachelors Degree in a related field required
Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required
ECMO transport experience required
Previous travel assignment experience required
Strong experience with adult pediatric and neonatal cardiac cases
Ability to work independently in fast-paced emergent cardiac environments
