Performance Hall Lead Technician

Job Summary
- Collaborate with Technical Directors and Department Heads to fulfill technical requirements for events and productions.
- Set up configure and operate Audio and/or Video systems and equipment in support of live events.
- Operate equipment including audio consoles video switchers projectors cameras playback systems streaming systems and related event technology.
- Troubleshoot technical issues involving signal flow software hardware audio/video networking and system integration.
- Provide occasional support to Lighting Carpentry and Rigging departments when event circumstances require cross-departmental assistance.
- Perform maintenance cleaning organization and repair of technical equipment.
- Communicate professionally with clients vendors touring personnel and other external parties to ensure seamless event execution.
- Assist with event load-ins setups strikes and venue turnovers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional Audio and/or Video technician experience in live event production.
- Experience programming and operating audio consoles in both live and recorded environments.
- Knowledge of audio networking including Dante and other AVoIP systems signal routing and patching.
- Understanding of proper microphone applications and deployment techniques.
- Ability to read stage plots and implement audio system installations to specification.
- Experience with QLab programming and playback operation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills related to audio signal flow networking and live production systems.
- Experience programming and operating video switchers for live events recording and streaming applications.
- Experience setting up and operating professional video camera systems.
- Knowledge of video signal flow and routing between projectors switchers computers cameras and signal converters/scalers.
- Ability to troubleshoot projectors cameras computers converters and presentation systems.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint Keynote PlaybackPro and related presentation software.
- Ability to read and implement video signal flow documentation and system specifications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays as required by event schedules.

- Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to move transport and position equipment and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to lift push and pull up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work extended periods standing walking crouching climbing sitting and working at a computer.
- $35/hour with overtime eligibility.
