Job Summary
Acts as staff supervisor for the speech therapist team. Maintain a daily caseload of patients and supervises staff on complex cases.
Responsibilities
a patient caseload of at least 5 patients per day
patients according to departmental standards
patients and/or families according to departmental standards
patient reports according to departmental formats and within specified time frames
daily and monthly statistics and billing records
staff speech therapists for difficult cases
those cases that exceed the competencies of the staff therapists
and executes in-service program for hospital staff
as liaison between the Speech Department and the Head and Neck Cancer Center
swallowing services for the ALS Center
policies and procedures for swallowing evaluation and treatment services
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology
- 5 Years clinical experience including 3 years of supervision
Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $70.62 - $70.62 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience education and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
