Assisting Hands Home Care Hamilton is looking for a dependable and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team on a per diem/PRN basis.
This is a flexible opportunity ideal for an experienced RN including a retired or semi-retired nurse with an active NJ RN license looking for meaningful supplemental work without a set weekly schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial in-home client assessments
- Develop and update client plans of care
- Complete periodic supervisory/reassessment visits
- Communicate with clients families caregivers and agency management
- Assist with occasional caregiver orientation and quarterly training
- Complete required nursing documentation and quality-assurance activities
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted New Jersey RN license
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Home care home health geriatrics rehabilitation long-term care or case management experience preferred
- Assessment and care-plan experience strongly preferred
- Dependable organized responsive and comfortable working independently
- Flexibility to complete client assessments as needs arise
Schedule & Compensation
This is a per diem position with no guaranteed weekly hours. Assignments are offered based on client needs and RN availability.
Compensation may be hourly or per visit depending on the assignment including client assessments supervisory visits care-plan reviews and occasional training.
