Per Diem Maintenance Tech in Senior Living

Job Summary
Lathrop Community a retirement community grounded in Quaker values and a commitment to enhancing the experience of aging has an opening for a per diem technician to join the team that maintains our campuses in Northampton and Easthampton MA. This position is 4 - 32 hours a week at $21-23/hour. The hours you will work each week are dependent on the schedule of the full-time team members and the needs of Lathrop as well as your own availability.
You will be a key part of a central department at Lathrop you will form relationships with staff residents and vendors while using and building upon your technical skills to improve and maintain the physical environment for all community members.
What youll bring:
- Basic working knowledge of plumbing carpentry electricity
- Interior and exterior painting skills
- Safe use of power tools
- Valid drivers license and driving record acceptable to our insurance company

Your application will be reviewed by our HR Manager who will reach out for a phone screen if interested and schedule an in-person interview with the Facilities Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. If you and those leaders agree that this is the right fit all new hires have to agree to a CORI background check and pass a pre-employment physical prior to their first day.
