Kendal at Hanover is seeking aPer DiemGeneral Maintenance/Securityteam member to maintain security coverage for the Kendal community (building and grounds).

Kendal is seeking somebody that will have Per Diem availability for a 3:00 - 11:00 PM or 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM shift on any day of the week (including weekends) at a minimum of 2 shifts per month.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude:

• Performs minor maintenance-related tasks as assigned;
• Making appropriate rounds as scheduled in the community politely questioning any strangers on the premises;
• Completing rounds and performing routine operation checks of equipment and systems;
• Filling in the night log and incident reports;
• Assisting nursing staff with needs such as lockouts fire alarms and medic alerts;
• Responding to emergency needs for general services such as heating lighting water and wastewater;

The successful candidate will have:

• High School degree/equivalent
• Two years of relevant experience (required) and working knowledge in the craft areas
• Active drivers license (required)
• The ability to frequently stand walk kneel crouch and lift/move up to objects that are 50-100 pounds.
