DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 Applications Architect 3 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of Applications Architect 3 Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered works made for hire and are the property of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

Application architects are responsible for designing developing and implementing applications for computer systems. They must direct the development process from conception to completion and oversee the efforts of all associated technical staff.

We are seeking a Senior PeopleSoft FSCM Upgrade Specialist with expertise in infrastructure and environment management to support simultaneous ERP implementation and upgrade projects.

The primary responsibility is to upgrade PeopleSoft FSCM on Linux and Oracle platforms and to build configure and maintain multiple environments in close coordination with the database administrator.

This position requires working outside standard business hours depending on project activities.

This is a remote position; if it should become hybrid in-office schedule will be negotiated.

II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

8 years of experience of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 PUM upgrades

• 8 years of experience Middleware setup and management (Web logic Tuxedo)
• 8 years of experience Troubleshooting in People Tools 8.6x environments
• 8 years of experience Advanced scripting (Linux SQL)
• 8 years of experience (at least 4) Search framework (Elasticsearch OpenSearch)

Preferred

• Experience working with a public sector organization (Federal State or Local Government)
• Experience working with a hosting vendor
• Experience working with Phire
• Experience working with Tivoli scheduler
