PeopleSoft FSCM GL Business Analyst (Remote)
Location: Austin TX 78751 Pay Rate: $65 $75/hr Experience: 8 10 Years
About the Role
Join our team as a PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 General Ledger Business Analyst to drive financial systems transformation for state government projects. You will play a pivotal role in system upgrades and new module implementations leveraging your expertise in government accounting and business analysis. This is a remote position with potential for hybrid work in the future.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements analysis and documentation for PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 General Ledger and Commitment Accounting modules
- Facilitate meetings with subject matter experts to gather and validate business needs
- Develop comprehensive project deliverables test scenarios and test scripts
- Conduct thorough end-to-end system testing and support multiple test cycles
- Prepare and deliver training materials for users and stakeholders
- Present complex information clearly to business stakeholders
- Evaluate current operational procedures and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate on cost/benefit analysis and system capability assessments
- Support project communications and deliverables with strong written and verbal skills
- Work outside standard business hours as project demands require
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8 years hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM on implementation or upgrade projects as a General Ledger/Commitment Accounting business analyst
- Extensive state government accounting practice experience
- Proven ability to create all forms of business analyst project deliverables
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end system testing
- Strong presentation skills in formal business settings
- Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Texas state agencies PeopleSoft FSCM (CAPPS Financials)
- Hands-on experience in Scrum framework and Jira
- Familiarity with SharePoint lists and various Microsoft Teams features
- Exposure to Phire
