PeopleSoft Developer I

Koniag Emerging Technologies LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a PeopleSoft Developer I with a Secret security clearance to support KET and our government customer in Washington DC. This position works closely with functional analysts business stakeholders and technical team members to develop high-quality solutions that meet business requirements while adhering to established architecture security and software development lifecycle (SDLC) ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise in PeopleSoft development and experience supporting enterprise Federal Human Capital Management (HCM) applications or comparable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. The successful candidate should have full software development lifecycle experience across multiple implementation and enhancement projects and be comfortable interacting directly with clients business stakeholders and technical ideal candidate will be able to support the following functions:Demonstrated ability working with business and producet owners to transform business outcomes into custom PeopleSoft application functionalityDevelop detailed technical design specifications and supporting documentationAssist with configuration of application softwareAnalyze code and unit test software (both new and changes to existing programs) from design specificationsTest and validate that developed solutions satisfy approved functional and technical and maintain technical documentation in accordance with organizational standardsProvide production support for enterprise PeopleSoft application including issue analysis defect resolution system enhancements and root cause analysis. Support may occasionally be required outside normal business hoursProvide Tier 2 application support by troubleshooting production issues and working collaboratively with functional analysts and business users to resolve complex problemsLead conversations with users and functional analysts to draw out desired business processes translating into system designsDesign and develop custom integration of API calls using integration broker REST SOAP services from external systems into Peoplesoft Federal Person PAR JPM benefits and tax modulesRequired Skills:5 years of development experience in PeopleTools I & II to include Application Designer PeopleCode SQR Integration Broker; Web services; Fluid experience preferred5 years Oracle SQL3 years PeopleSoft Federal HCM understanding of Person model and PAR tables structures is a must3 years Federal HR processingMust have an active Secret ClearanceBachelors Degree in Engineering Computer Science Mathematics or related quantitative fieldOne year of experience in programming and development or 5 years of experience in lieu of degreeGood analytical and creative problem-solving skills for design creation and testing of softwareGood interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team membersGood communication skills to interact with team members and senior support personnelAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDue to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements US citizenship is requiredDesired Skills:PeopleTools CertificationOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
