People Services Specialist, Tier 2 Program Operations

What you will do:

As a People Services Specialist for Tier 2 Program Operations you will support the delivery of HR operations through program administration data governance auditing process execution and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with HR Business Partners Centers of Excellence Legal managers and associates you will help ensure the accuracy integrity and compliance of employee data and HR transactions.

In addition you will contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance data quality strengthen operational controls improve HR systems and streamline processes. Your work will play an important role in advancing efficient scalable and compliant HR operations across the organization.

Position location Deerfield IL - Hybrid (Flexibility to work from home Mondays and Fridays)

• Support specialized HR programs and employee lifecycle processes including internal mobility organizational changes immigration tracking severance and other operational initiatives.
• Execute Workday transactions and data changes ensuring accuracy compliance data integrity and adherence to established HR processes and governance standards.
• Collaborate with the People Services Supervisor to research and resolve escalated HR process data and system issues partnering with HR Business Partners Centers of Excellence Legal managers and associates as needed.
• Conduct audits data validations and process reviews to maintain compliance identify risks and promote data quality across HR systems and processes.
• Create and maintain SOPs job aids process documentation and operational resources to support consistent execution and knowledge sharing.
• Support HR technology enhancements testing reporting and continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency strengthen controls and improve associate experience.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for assigned programs and processes while collaborating with stakeholders to support effective scalable and compliant HR operations.

Qualifications :

What you bring: 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum two (2) years experience supporting HR Shared Services HR Operations employee lifecycle administration or similar service delivery environments
• Experience using Workday or a a similar HRIS platform to process transactions maintain employee data and support HR operations
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel (VLOOKUP pivot tables etc.) PowerPoint Outlook Teams and cloud-based file-sharing platforms
• Demonstrated experience using business systems digital tools and technology platforms to manage work maintain data support processes and improve efficiency.
• Demonstrated customer service experience and effective written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail process execution troubleshooting appropriate issue escalation follow-through and management of competing priorities to meet deadlines and service level expectations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Preferred qualifications: 

• Experience supporting HR data governance auditing reporting and/or process improvement initiatives strongly preferred
• Experience with US immigration or mobility processes including coordination of employment-based visa and green card cases partnership with immigration counsel and compliance tracking

Additional Information :

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $40000 USD - $65000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based sales incentive plan.
