How youll contribute
APeople Services Specialist who excels in this role:
- Administer and support comprehensive human resources programs including talent acquisition onboarding employment processing compensation benefits training and development employee relations retention succession planning records management and AA/EEO compliance.
- Serve as a trusted People Services resource by providing guidance to employees supervisors and leaders on HR policies procedures employment practices workforce issues and recommending effective solutions to complex HR matters.
- Manage HRIS platforms and employee data ensuring data accuracy integrity reporting compliance and efficient administration across systems such as Oracle UKG ServiceNow Lawson Kronos Taleo and other HR technologies.
- Coordinate onboarding orientation and HR systems training educating new employees supervisors and managers on HR processes systems and best practices while providing ongoing training updates and support.
- Administer employee benefits leave of absence (LOA) and payroll-related HR processes managing employee communications documentation and coordination with managers to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Support employee relations and organizational performance by assisting with performance management investigations conflict resolution corrective actions employee engagement initiatives and coaching managers on HR-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws organizational policies accreditation standards safety requirements and regulatory guidelines while supporting HR projects and continuous process improvements.

What were looking for
- Associates degree required in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field; a bachelors degree with a business emphasis is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of two years of Human Resources experience required with HR Generalist HR Operations or healthcare HR experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations including FLSA FMLA ADA and AA/EEO compliance requirements.
- Experience utilizing Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) required; experience with Oracle UKG ServiceNow Lawson Kronos Taleo or similar HR platforms is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with employees leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities analyze information and recommend effective HR solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality exercise sound judgment and handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism discretion and integrity.
