Job Summary
Are you a passionate HR professional who enjoys working across employee relations benefits and talent development TOMRA Collections is looking for a P&O Generalist to join our team and help drive a positive compliant and high-performing workplace across multiple locations.
Location: Shelton CT (Travel Required)

What Youll Do
As a key member of our P&O team youll:
- Partner with leaders to provide guidance on employee relations policies and employment law
- Ensure consistent and accurate interpretation of P&O policies across the organization and conducts regular audits to monitor and enforce compliance
- Support benefits administration including invoicing open enrollment and vendor coordination
- Assist with recruitment onboarding and background checks
- Lead and support employee training and development initiatives
- Provide advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices policy and employment laws
- Help manage performance programs and workforce planning efforts
- Conduct investigations and support employee relations matters such as disciplinary procedures and appropriate corresponding paperwork/documentation
- Maintain HRIS data and ensure compliance across all processes
- Travel (up to 50%) to support teams across the Northeast
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (ADP Workforce Now a plus)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Education & Experience
- Bachelors 24 years HR experience OR
- Masters 1 year HR experience OR
- 6 years of relevant experience
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- Experience in multi-state or decentralized environments is a plus
