About the Role
The HealthCare Connection is seeking aBoard-Certified Pediatricianto join our team and provide high-quality accessible primary care to children and families in the communities we Pediatrician provides direct medical care to pediatric patients in a primary healthcare setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment diagnosis treatment planning and implementation evaluation and ongoing monitoring of each patients overall care plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary and preventive pediatric care.
- Perform patient histories physical examinations assessments and diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Monitor the overall management of assigned patients.
- Provide health education preventive care immunizations and anticipatory guidance.
- Maintain accurate timely and confidential medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians advanced practice providers nurses behavioral health professionals and other members of the care team.
- Provide culturally sensitive care to patients and families from diverse educational socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.
- Participate in shared pediatric call coverage.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Completion of three years of pediatric residency training.
- Demonstrated clinical skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team across the organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with individuals from diverse educational socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.
Preferred:
- One to three years of experience in an ambulatory care setting community health center FQHC or similar practice environment.
