Role Overview:
Were currently seeking a part-time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing practice in Lakewood Ranch FL specifically to cover our high-demand weekday afternoon hours from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This is an exciting opportunity to build your caseload alongside a supportive expanding company.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Word Therapy youll assess diagnose and treat communication disorders in pediatric clients during these peak after-school hours. Youll collaborate closely with families and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each childs unique needs. Additional hours may increase as client demand grows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct evaluations to assess speech language and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with families caregivers and team members.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Florida state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong understanding of communication disorders and treatment methods.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Compassionate patient-focused and organized.
