Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

As a Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) youll have the opportunity to provide personalized one-on-one care where children thrivetheir own homes. Youll evaluate and treat children with speech language feeding and swallowing needs while building meaningful relationships with patients and families. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date
  • One year of experience preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each childs unique needs
  • Provide speech therapy services addressing communication articulation language development feeding and swallowing skills
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support continued growth
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to promote carryover at home
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated high-quality care
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
