About the role
We are actively recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our therapy team in California MD. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for professionals who excel at working with children and families communicate effectively and are passionate about helping young clients reach their developmental milestones. The role involves evaluating and treating children from birth through adolescence in a clinic setting creating engaging and individualized treatment plans and partnering with families and caregivers to support carryover of skills at home.
This position offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team participate in ongoing professional development and make a lasting difference in the lives of children and their families across St. Marys Charles and Calvert Counties.
What youll do
Evaluate plan and implement treatment for patients with physical delays and conditions.
Deliver therapy services as outlined in treatment plans documenting all sessions and progress reports in a timely manner.
Educate and guide families/caregivers in home exercise programs and strategies.
Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual exercises assistive devices training and use of therapeutic equipment.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in discharge planning.
Maintain equipment comply with HIPAA and stay current with best practices through professional development.
Qualifications
Current Maryland Physical Therapist license.
CPR/BLS (infant/child) certification or ability to obtain.
Clear criminal background check.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication documentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team adapt to change and manage priorities.

The pay range for this role is:
$38-$47 USD per hour with the potential to reach $50/hour for highly experienced clinicians
