Assesses sensory-motor neuromuscular psycho-social and cognitive-perceptual components of occupational behavior. Assesses the patients occupational environments physical social and cultural components Promote company mission and administrative policies to ensure the quality of care
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
- Current Texas State License as an Occupational Therapist
- Current Texas Drivers License and reliable transportation
- Two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting. Pediatric experience required
- Effective interpersonal relations and communication skills
- Knowledge of durable medical equipment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
- Able to work in a patients home in various conditions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Proof of current CPR certification
- Ability to do heavy lifting bending pulling pushing and standing. Prolonged standing and walking are required
- Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and patient needs and to meet patient/family individualized psychosocial needs
