About the Role
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in educational settings
- Evaluate student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers parents and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Support students in achieving academic functional and developmental goals
Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services in accordance with established goals
- Maintain accurate documentation reports and service records
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educational staff
- Educate families and school personnel regarding therapeutic strategies and recommendations
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations policies and professional standards
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy
Qualifications
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
