Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our pediatric hospital medicine team at Winchester Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative well-supported environment providing care to hospitalized children and newborns in a community-focused setting.
Position Highlights
- Provide care in a 17-bed pediatric unit and newborn nursery with approximately 2400 annual admissions
- Pediatric Floor Average Daily Census: 5
- Newborn Nursery Average Daily Census: 15
- Collaborate closely with pediatric hospitalists in a team-based care model
- Work an 8-hour daytime shift including weekends; no call required
- Participate in rounding patient management admissions and discharge planning
- Access subspecialty support through leading institutions

- Pediatrix also provides onsite NICU services supporting continuity across levels of care
About You
- Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Experience in pediatrics newborn care or hospital medicine preferred
- Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
- Team oriented with excellent communication abilities
