As a Home Health Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) at MedCare Pediatric youll provide personalized one-on-one care while helping children develop essential communication feeding and swallowing skills. Working in the childs natural environment allows you to build meaningful relationships with patients and families while supporting their progress.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date
- One year of experience preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Support treatment plans addressing communication articulation language development feeding and swallowing needs
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising SLPs and the care team
- Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans to support each childs goals
- Collaborate with families caregivers and interdisciplinary team members to promote carryover and progress
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
