Job Summary
Provide expert clinical care for pediatric patients undergoing bone marrow and stem cell transplantation.
Evaluate diagnose and manage patients with hematologic malignancies solid tumors bone marrow failure syndromes immunodeficiencies hemoglobinopathies and other conditions requiring cellular therapies or transplantation.
Deliver inpatient and outpatient care across the continuum of transplant treatment including pre-transplant evaluation transplant management and long-term survivorship follow-up.
Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and collaborative care conferences.
Contribute to the development and growth of the Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy program.
Collaborate with clinical research teams and participate in institutional cooperative group translational and clinical research initiatives.
Engage in quality safety and process improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.
Teach and mentor medical students residents fellows and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in call coverage and other departmental responsibilities as assigned.
