Job Summary
Nemours Childrens Health Jacksonville is seeking a PRN Pediatric Anesthesiologist to work in partnership with Wolfson Childrens Hospital.
The Department of Anesthesiology at Nemours Jacksonville serves one of the fastest growing areas in current operating room and interventional capacity includes 10 inpatient ORs and 5 ambulatory ORs/GI endoscopy suites one interventional radiology suites as well as a cardiac catheterization addition anesthesia provides care in three MRIs and in the hematology/oncology clinic. Additionally we are looking to expand into off campus ambulatory surgery centers to keep pace with our rapidly expanding case volumes.
We are a free-standing institution serving a diverse pediatric population undergoing a wide range of procedures. Our staff provides anesthesia to approximately 15000 children per year while managing their own cases with teaching responsibilities to anesthesia residents from Mayo Clinic and other anesthesiology residencies.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Interest in clinical excellence within the care team model education and research
- MD/DO degree
- Board certified in Anesthesia
- Board certified/Board eligible in Pediatric Anesthesia
