The Company designs develops constructs and operates biogas renewable energy generation systems primarily on dairy farms. Our projects include anaerobic digesters biogas-powered electric generation and renewable natural gas DescriptionThe Site Manager will focus initially on the construction management of the site and then the operation manager once construction is completed. Construction management of the facilities will include supervising earthwork the installation of pipeline structures concrete mechanical and electrical equipment etc. Upon construction completion the Site Manager will focus on the operations of the site overseeing the operation of all equipment related to biogas handling upgrading clean up combustion and CNG/hauling. The Site Manager will be expected to perform routine maintenance repair equipment as necessary and troubleshoot issues as they arise while coordinating with co-workers and business partners as needed. Equipment to be operated and serviced will most commonly include PLCs data loggers biogas blowers 3-phase motors and electrical wiring. Applicants should have some level of experience with construction management mechanical and electrical equipment and enjoy troubleshooting issues within industrial project construction sites ensuring that construction is designed prepared and executed according to planPerform duties similar to a superintendentPerform daily walk-throughs maintain daily logs and prepare a weekly summaryIdentify site conflicts/problemsInteract with on-site contractors and dairy staffJobsite safetyQAQCOff-loading of truck deliveriesStaging construction materialsSupervise bidding handle contractor communication monitor construction scheduling supervise remote contractorsCoordinate with engineers regulating agencies and government officialsOversee on-site operations ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating as designed while maximizing facility up-timeTroubleshoot issues on-site or remotely as they ariseCoordinate repair work and perform maintenance checklistsEffectively communicate via email text and phone with supervisors team members contractors clients and business partnersQualifications & SkillsTwo or more years of experience in Construction and Construction Management ability to read and understand Construction Plans and P&IDs is a thinker and to diagnose and resolve problems and to plan & execute written and verbal communicationProficient in written & spoken English computing and Microsoft office skills skills a plusGeneral mechanical and electrical experience (2 years preferred)Operations or Construction Management experience to learn new equipment software and electronic interfacesAnalytical thinker ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical be able to successfully pass a background check and a motor vehicle (DMV) background check to qualify for use of a company DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
