Unleash your potential and make an impact! DPS is currently accepting applications for application for an Administrative Officer II (PCard/E-Procurement/HelpDesk Manager). This position is located in Raleigh NC.This is an INTERNAL POSTING open ONLY to current North Carolina State Government and UNC System employees and eligible RIF candidates. Temporary employees are also eligible to apply.
THIS IS AN ANTICIPATED VACANCY.
This position manages the day-to-day operations of the DPS E-Procurement Helpdesk P-Card Program and related training and compliance functions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Administering the agencys P-Card program by overseeing card issuance account maintenance fraud prevention and resolution policy compliance user training reporting and serving as the liaison with Bank of America and internal stakeholders.
Administers E-Procurement system access provides helpdesk support manages user security and profiles resolves system issues coordinates with the system vendor oversees purchase order maintenance and delivers end-user training across the agency.
Provides leadership and oversight to a Program Coordinator II.
Ability to write policy procedures and training.
Ability to plan assign and supervise the work of subordinate employees.
The purpose of the Purchasing and Logistics Unit is to provide comprehensive procurement of goods and/or services to the entire in six primary functional areas: Purchasing of Goods and Services; Real Property Lease and Acquisitions; Central Supply Warehouse and Logistics; Fleet Management; Auxiliary Support Services / Law Enforcement Support Services (LESS) Office; and DNA Evidence Collection of Anonymous Sexual Assault Kits.
The Fleet Management Section is responsible for over 8000 vehicles rented from Motor Fleet Management or owned by the Department. This section is responsible for the scheduling of repairs fuel and replacement of vehicles for the various Divisions within DPS.

Salary Recruitment Range: $47703.00 - $83479.00

The work schedule is Monday through Friday (8AM 5PM). We value our employees and are committed to providing flexibility in work schedules. This position qualifies for teleworking on a part-time basis as part of the State TeleworkProgram.
